SCHMOHAWK

Here are some of my very own silhouette's...

"GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!"

These are a few of my fave transformers comics, from my big brother's collection. They're from 1989-90 so Steve would have been about 7. Is there stuff like this for 7 year olds now? I dunno. I mean stuff - as good as this that you can just buy from a corner shop - because this is all neat-o!. There doesn't seem to be as much hand drawn, printed stuff like this anyway but i don't tend to look!

I've never seen a kid in a comic bookshop, ever! Honestly. Who has? In forbidden planet or wherever... it tends to be guys about of about 24 or the odd looking girls with funny hair usually. Target audiences are never clear when it comes to comic books. You can be flicking through something that looks like these Transformer comics here and then suddenly see a woman with her knockers out or something that's clearly not for kids. Comics aren't for kids anymore...

LOVE IT!

My dad gave me the idea of doing an animation with just Shadow Pupets. So would that be more like a video or would i still capture each from as if i were doing stop frame? Hm, something to think about....

MEOW!

Photobucket

Been looking at a lot of work involving silhouettes as I feel it'll probably be the best way to animate a figure just using black card with little detail rather than re-drawing things over and over.... I love this leopard, He's not quite a silhouette but he's got the idea! I found him ages ago. He's in a big Circus poster art book that was at my old college...He's a purrrrdy chap.

DIMITIRI STANKOWICS

This is by DIMITIRI STANKOWICS. Amazing. I can't get enough. Really reminiscent of 60's style Disney animation that I'm reeeal fond of.
